Christian Schmidt advises his clients on tax law issues. As a classic generalist, he feels at home in numerous areas of tax law. The main focus of his work is advising on real estate transactions as well as national and international turnover tax law. In addition, Mr. Schmidt advises on ongoing tax issues and, if required, also takes on compliance activities such as the preparation of payroll and financial accounting, annual financial statements and annual tax returns.  

In addition, Christian Schmidt has been active for many years as a speaker in the ongoing training of tax consultants, auditors and lawyers for H.a.a.S. GmbH Seminars and Lectures and lectures on current legal developments in balance sheet tax law, income tax, trade tax, corporate income tax and reorganization tax law as well as on turnover tax issues.

Clients particularly emphasize Christian Schmidt's ability to communicate complex tax law issues in a clear and understandable manner. At the same time, he always keeps an eye on the economic efficiency of his solutions.

Additional background

After completing his training as a communications electronics technician at Deutsche Telekom, Christian Schmidt studied tax law at the University of Applied Sciences for Administration and Administration of Justice and then worked for many years, from assistant to senior manager, at two of the world's leading auditing and tax consulting firms in Berlin: At ERNST & YOUNG and BDO. This was followed by almost 11 years as managing co-partner of a medium-sized auditing and tax consulting company in Berlin, before Christian Schmidt set up his own firm in 2020. Since June 2021, tax consultant Christian Schmidt has strengthened the tax consulting division of ROSE & PARTNER in Berlin.
