He completed his legal clerkships in Hamburg and London with rotations at international law firms in the areas of commercial and corporate law.
Upon admission to the bar in 2009, Philipp wrote his doctoral thesis under the supervision of Professor Dr. Christian Tietje on an arbitration law matter with references to international tax and corporate law. At the same time, he worked as a research assistant at the Berlin office of a major international law firm.
Later, Philipp joined the Frankfurt office of Mannheimer Swartling AB, the leading Scandinavian commercial law firm, where he advised on M&A and corporate law. Before joining ROSE & PARTNER Philipp worked for a mid-sized law firm with an international focus, where he advised on corporate law, real estate law, and financing matters.
